Working with this organization has been an amazing experience and it has taught me how important it is to have a caring family supporting you through your life. It has also showed me how important it is to be able to have a type of child like wonder and love for the little things in life.

ReplyDeleteI found it very interesting that you brought up the fact that children have so much wonder and awe in the world. You mentioned that it has personally affected you because you can recapture some of that child-like wonder in your own life. I was wondering, personally, why do you think we lose that sense of awe for the little things as we grow older?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good question and I think that a lot of things contribute to the loss of child-like awe. One of the main things I think that contributes to it is the stress of our work and the need to be successful, which leaves us little time to notice the little things in life that can be amazing.
